We are looking for experienced techs to fill the following positions:
Lead EEG Technologist to work full-time, must have R. EEG T (ABRET) credentials and a minimum of 2 years experience performing 10-20 EEG hookups.
EEG Technologist to work full-time or part-time. Minimum of 2 years experience performing 10-20 EEG hookups. R. EEG T (ABRET) credentials preferred, but not required. (**$2,000 Sign on Bonus for full-time)
Location: Nashville, TN
EEG Technologist's Responsibilities include:
Driving to patient homes or physician offices to conduct EEG studies
Conducting EEG hookups using 10/20 system
Conducting EEG hookups at patient’s residence
Taking an accurate and detailed patient history
Clipping and scanning EEG studies
Cleaning and sterilizing EEG equipment
Remotely monitoring patients to verify quality of EEG
Troubleshooting equipment or patient issues, as necessary
Participating in on-call rotation and/or working occasional weekends
Additional Lead EEG Technologist's responsibilities include:
Point person for all Tennessee EEG Tech questions, issues, concerns, and needs.
Lead all EEG techs (set up and remote monitoring techs) and students working in Tennessee.
Troubleshoot any issues with all staff, vendors, and physicians.
Fixing and or re-archiving corrupt files.
Assisting physicians with website login and Persyst issues.
Working with equipment and software vendors to investigate and correct technical issues.
Assisting EEG techs with technical issues arising during remote monitoring or EEG setups.
Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and adherence to infection control policies at our Tennessee offices (Nashville and Knoxville).
Coordinate with IT Manager and Administrative Assistants regarding. equipment availability and/or shipping equipment to other regions.
Provide insight and ideas on how to improve staff morale, quality control, education and customer service, communication between all EEG Techs and departments within Neurotech.
Will know how to perform all EEG/EP services that Neurotech provides, and provide training to other techs.
Train all Tennessee EEG technologist staff: set up and remote monitoring techs on company standards and how we do things. Ensure all techs are following proper procedures with setups, monitoring, and scanning.
Train students and other techs; responsible for their development. Notifies Director of EEG Services if a tech is incompetent or unqualified to perform certain functions.
Conduct peer-to-peer evaluations quarterly, whereby you will go with techs on hookups and verify all procedures are being done according to protocols.
Complete assignments assigned by Director of EEG Services.
Regularly communicate with Director of EEG Services regarding performance of Tennessee EEG Techs on issues encountered and solutions to problems.
