Performing sleep studies at night, predominantly on neonates, children and adolescents for both outpatient and inpatients.
Working in close collaboration and partnership with physicians, nursing staff, and other health care professionals.
Utilizing video, audio and telemetry equipment and knowledge of computers related to Polysomnography.
Utilizing appropriate actions to take during emergency situations and insuring patient safety at all times.
Working knowledge of basic infection controls standards relating to patient and equipment, including electrodes.
To qualify, you must have:
A High School diploma and one year of previous clinical Polysomnography experience.
Graduated from a Polysomnography training program.
Registered or be board eligible through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT), preferred. In addition to BRPT certification, candidates who are also RRT certified, will be strongly considered.
A current CPR certification.
This is a 36 hour/week position.
