Will be responsible for setting up and performing EEG's in the Clinic and Hospital.
In accordance with established procedures, performs EEG (including on-call rotation), Evoked Potentials, Autonomic and/or Nerve Conduction Studies. The technologists are responsible for complete and accurate patient preparation, data acquisition, and providing a safe testing environment. Must have demonstrated communication, problem solving and organizational ability. Must be highly organized, efficient, and able to work independently.
Requires a minimum of an associate'e degree in Applied Science or related science..
Healthcare Provider CPR certification required
Must be a current Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist, Clinical Neurophysiology Technologist graduate or current CNT student to apply. Within two years of employment, specific certification through ABRET - Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation (R. EEG T., R. EP T., CNIM, CLTM and CAP); American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM; CNCT) and/or American Association of Electrodiagnostic Technologists (AAET; R.NCS.T.) is required.
Minimum of 4 years progressively more responsible related work experience necessary in order to gain advanced level of knowledge of standard and complex EEG procedures, in order to train others and conduct more complex testing procedures.
