The EEG Technologist is a registered technologist that performs electroneurodiagnostic procedures for use in the diagnosis of brain disorders.
Basic Qualifications: Experience - 1 year of experience typically gained through skills/knowledge/abilities in patient care experience, preferably in Neurodiagnostics or related area Licenses - Credentialed in electroencephalography (R. EEG. T) from American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologist, Inc (ABRET) or Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring Certified (CNIM) with Bachelor's degree. Basic Life Support (BLS) Note used for BLS,CPR & BCLS) within 90 days of hire Preferred Qualifications: Education - Associate's Degree or equivalent or higher from an accredited college or university Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Program Licenses - Credentialed in either evoked potentials (R. EP. T) or long term monitoring (CLTM) from American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologist, Inc (ABRET)
