| Adheres to the strict criteria when performing Patient Identification - comparing, at the chair or bedside, patient information on the requisition to the in-patient's identification band, using 2 identifiers and verbal confirmation, before venipuncture is performed. For outpatients, two identifiers are maintained by asking patient to verbalize these items and comparing to the printed requisition. |
