The South Bend Clinic
The Audiology department of the South Bend Clinic located in South Bend, Indiana is a full-service audiology clinic serving patient populations from newborn through geriatric. We currently have a full-time position available to join our team of Providers. We provide diagnostic hearing services including audiologic assessment (comprehensive, Visual Reinforcement Audiometry (VRA), and Conditioned Play Audiometry (CPA)), newborn Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) testing, Distortion Product Otoacoustic Emission (DPOAE) testing, and tympanometry for own scheduled patients as well as in support of our ENT’s, NP, and PA within Otolaryngology. Specialized balance assessment capabilities include Videonystagmography (VNG), Electrocochleography (ECOG), and retrocochelar/neurodiagnostic ABR testing. Following diagnosis of a hearing loss, we are a full-service hearing aid, bone-anchored hearing aid (Baha), and cochlear implant (CI) center primarily working with Phonak, Resound, Oticon, and Cochlear. Patients choose our department knowing that we can identify their hearing or balance disorder and provide effective counseling and rehabilitation options with appropriate follow-up care regardless of the patient’s age. This position will test, evaluate and prescribe treatment of hearing disorders. Provides a full range of diagnostic and rehabilitative services to patients from newborn to the geriatric population. Dispenses traditional hearing aids, bone conduction hearing aids, cochlear implants and/or assistive listening devices as appropriate. Assists in instructing patients and their families in rehabilitation process.
