Medical Instrument Technician (Polysomnography) Temporary Not-To-Exceed 09-30-2022
The Polysomnography Technician is responsible for providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders in the sleep clinic, sleep laboratory, telemedicine and inpatient settings. Utilizes knowledge of anatomy and physiology of sleep medicine systems and current medical terminology to document in medical records. Performs/documents body mass index, neck circumference, upper airway/nose/throat exam, auscultation of heart and lungs, Mallampatti score and Epworth Sleepiness scale.
