About this job
At Saint Vincent Hospital, you have access to a specialized care team, dedicated exclusively to the treatment of brain and neurological conditions. Our brain and neurology specialists include experienced neurosurgeons, neurologists, and certified nurses. Whenever possible, our neuroscience center uses minimally invasive techniques that promote faster recovery times.
Performs and evaluates overnight polysomnograms. Operates equipment to record sleep/wake physiology. Applies recording devices to the patient. Cleans/sterilizes equipment. Recognizes sleep pathology and responds with appropriate interventions to ensure patient safety

Qualifications:Education
High School graduate and graduate of an accredited Polysomnography Technology Program or equivalent formal training. Associate of applied science degree program in Polysomnography (Sleep Medicine) preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Required
Eligible/Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) preferred. American Heart Association (BLS) Certification
Knowledge and Skills
Minimum of one year Polysomnography experience preferred
