Winchester Neurological Consultants has an immediate need for a Full Time Registered EEG Technologist. This is a great opportunity for a self-motived, organized technologist that can work independently. The technologist performs non-invasive, diagnostic procedures to attain patient neurological responses as directed/ordered by a physician conducted using Cadwell Ambulatory/EEG equipment.
Explain and orient the patient to the EEG procedure.
Sanitizing all rooms and equipment.
Perform and monitor routine EEG studies.
Apply, remove, and upload ambulatory EEG studies.
Prepares, monitors, and troubleshoots procedure equipment.
Maintains proper inventories and correctly uses supplies and reagents.
Maintain all EEG equipment and supplies.
Confirm patient appointments to ensure a fully utilized schedule.
Communicate with neurologists regarding all requested EEG's and inform them when complete.
Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
Assist with other neurodiagnostic testing or reception duties as needed.
EEG technicians are welcome to apply. We are willing to provide training and guidance to become registered!
