SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of all technical procedures performed in the Sleep Center. Responsible for technician training and continuing education, supervision of recording protocols, positive airway pressure (PAP) treatment protocols, maintaining and evaluation equipment, quality assurance, and oversight of record scoring.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree required with 3 to 5 years experience as a registered technologist in an accredited sleep disorder center is required.
Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists required.
Experience working with other technical or administrative directors to understand management and structure of the sleep center is required.
Participation and experience with sleep research is preferred.
