Medical Instrument Technician (Polysomnography)
The incumbent will function as a Sleep Technician (Medical Instrument Technician) in the Sleep Disorders Center Testing Unit. The incumbent will perform and score a wide variety of polysomnographic studies in the Sleep Center: routine polysomnogram, PAP titration studies including CPAP, Bi-level, and complex studies, including but not limited to ASV, AVAPS/iVAPS, MSLT, PAP naps, home sleep testing (HST), and Inspire. The incumbent is capable of setting up positive airway pressure devices. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. English Language Proficiency.
