JOB SUMMARY:Â
Responsible to work in a team setting to provide care to patients in the Electrophysiology Laboratories. Assist the EP Physicians during all EP procedures, EP studies, Cardioversions, Device Implants, Ablations, etc.
***This position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and relocation allowance (if eligible).***
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Either: (A) Graduate on an EP Program, or (B) Graduate of a CVT Program plus 1 year of EP lab experience, or (C) Graduate of a CVT program plus 2 years of invasive cardiology experience required.
Must obtain RCES certification within 18 months from date of hire.
Must obtain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications within 3 months from date of hire.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Effective written/oral communication and critical thinking skills required.
Must be able to function as a collaborative team member.
Time management and organizational skills required.
Understanding of engineering principles of various ICD/Pacemaker devices required.
Ability to troubleshoot devices and implement necessary emergency measures if needed required.
